Voice memo journal

A voice memo you can come back to.

Voice Memos keeps audio files. Yuho keeps the memory: the recording, the place, the photos from that moment, and an optional transcript. It is an iPhone journal, private unless you choose to share one entry.

A recording list is not a journal

The Voice Memos app is a good recorder. Months later the list is dates and durations, and the reason you pressed record is gone.

Yuho gives each recording a place on a timeline. The photos and route from that session stay with the voice, so you can find the entry by when it happened and what was around you.

What stays with the voice

The words you actually said

The recording is the entry. You can keep talking for as long as the thought needs.

The place and the photos

Pictures from that time, and the route you walked, sit with the audio instead of in a separate camera roll.

A transcript only if you want one

Transcription is optional. When you turn it on, you can read along as the recording plays. The audio remains the original.

Private until you decide otherwise

Recordings stay on your iPhone. Sharing is a link you create for one entry, not the default.

Use it when a voice memo would get lost

A quick clip in Voice Memos is still useful. Yuho is for the recording you meant to keep: a long thought, a walk, something you do not want mixed into meeting notes.

You can also import an audio file you already have. Yuho does not replace the Voice Memos app, and it does not pull that library in by itself.

From a recording to an entry

  1. Start talking

Open Yuho and record with the iPhone microphone, AirPods, or another Bluetooth microphone.

  2. Leave the phone in a pocket

Recording continues while you walk. The route and photos from that time can stay with the entry.

  3. Replay it, or share one

Come back from the timeline. Add a transcript if you want to read. Send a link only when that entry is meant for someone else.
